I came to Canada to challenge myself, step out of my comfort zone, and grow both personally and professionally. I believe in staying humble and learning constantly, knowing that there's always more to discover. This journey is also a great opportunity for my kids and wife to experience a new culture, and mastering English will open doors for all of us. I hold a master’s degree in industrial engineering from Federico Santa Maria Technical University in Chile, with over 14 years of experience in various industries back home. Outside of work, I spend most of my time being a dad, enjoying the Niagara Falls landscape, and embracing the city with a tourist’s eyes. Soon, we’ll be exploring more family adventures in nature!

I am currently pursuing a Master of Management at the University of Niagara Falls (UNF), driven by my ambition to enhance my managerial skills and lead teams or companies effectively. In 2012, after finishing my master’s degree, I started my first venture creating reusable "lona" (canvas) bags as Chile began moving away from plastic. I participated in entrepreneurship fairs, and a national newspaper featured my business under the catchy title "Lonapalooza," inspired by the music festival.
In 2012, my colleagues and I received an award for our work on a groundbreaking wireless sensor project. The sensor measured fluid flow without needing electricity, significantly improving efficiency. This recognition highlighted our commitment to continuous innovation and technological advancement in industrial processes.
I applied twice for government funding for a hydroponic project, advancing through different stages each time. The project aimed to demonstrate that anyone can grow vegetables using automation, making sustainable farming accessible and efficient for all.
In 2021, aiming to enhance FEGOSA's performance, I joined a Power BI training by a Microsoft Gold Partner. I quickly mastered the tool and, within a year, launched a comprehensive set of dashboards to monitor and improve the company’s performance.
I participated in a consultancy with FOSIS, focused on educating and providing tools and funds to small entrepreneurs facing economic risk. I taught classes on entrepreneurship, business strategies, and how to effectively manage a business, helping participants build sustainable ventures and improve their financial stability.
Raising the summit of Cerro Cordillera was an unforgettable 5-day, 4-night adventure through snow, rivers, and rugged edges, surrounded by inhospitable yet stunning landscapes. The journey was enriched by native flora and fauna, making it a challenging yet rewarding experience filled with awe and natural beauty. A true wonder!
